Marking sold items (Ended) from the cash register
Sold Out Item Management
During peak hours it may happen that a certain product ends up in the kitchen (e.g. fresh asparagus for the steak is out). To prevent impossible orders from being received:
Two Ways of Notation:
Method 1: From the Dedicated Screen (/admin/sold-out)
- Go to the main menu and select Sold.
- The list of all the restaurant's dishes is displayed.
- Tap the key on the finished dish (e.g. Grilled Beef Steak).
- The item immediately becomes Unavailable.
Method 2: Directly from the POS
- On the POS screen, in the top right corner, press the Mark Sold button.
- All menu tiles return to selection mode.
- Tap the plate you want to block. The plate will get a red highlighted bar with the inscription Done.
- Press the Close Mode button to return to normal selling.
Immediate Effect:
- To Customers: On customers' mobile phones, the dish appears dimmed with the label "Done" and the "+ Add" button is immediately disabled.
- To Waiters: Waiters cannot add it to the ticket.
- Return: Once the kitchen prepares new quantities, just touch the plate again to return it to sale in a second!
