Moving and merging tables

Hall Movement Management

During service, it often happens that customers ask to move from the interior hall to the veranda when a better seat becomes available, or two groups of friends join tables.

Steps for Moving the Table:

1. Open the current table in POS (e.g. Table 1).
2. In the top action bar, press the Move / Merge button.
3. The system will show you a list of all other tables.
4. If the new table is free (e.g. Table 4):
   • Tap Table 4 and press Move here.
   • All orders, opening times, and active courses are transferred to the new table.
   • The old table is automatically released and turns gray.

Steps to Merge Two Tables:

1. If Table 1 wants to join friends at Table 2 (which also has its own active order):
2. Open Desktop 1 and press Move / Merge.
3. Select Table 2 (marked as occupied).
4. Press the Join this table button.
5. The system will merge all items into a single account in Table 2.
6. Table 1 is immediately released on the map.

Tip: The account summary and invoice will record that the orders were merged from the original tables, ensuring maximum transparency.
