Managing multiple currencies and updating exchange rates

Multi-Currency in BletaGo (/admin/settings/currencies)

In tourist areas and urban centers, many foreign customers prefer to see the menu and pay in Euros (EUR) or Dollars (USD).

How It Works:

  1. Base Currency:
    • For Albania, the base currency is the Albanian Lek (ALL). All prices in the administrative menu are set in Lek.
  2. Activating Secondary Currencies:
    • On the currency tab, activate EUR and define the symbol (€) and its position.
  3. Exchange Rate Update:
    • The system can automatically pull the daily rate from the central bank or the administrator can set a fixed internal restaurant rate (e.g. 1 EUR = 100 ALL).
  4. Customer Experience:
    • In the phone menu, the customer selects the EUR currency.
    • The dish priced at 1,600 ALL is immediately displayed as 16.00 €.
    • At the end of the table, the bill accurately calculates the converted value and the change in Lek.
