Deposits, withdrawals and cash limit

Cash Movements (Deposit & Withdrawal)

In addition to automatic sales from the tables, money in the cash register also moves for other operational reasons (purchase of emergency supplies, courier payment, deposit by the owner).

1. Deposit of Money (Deposit):

  • When the owner adds money to the drawer:
    1. Go to Cashier -> Select the cashier -> Press Deposit money.
    2. Enter the amount and reason (e.g. "Additional funds for change").
    3. The cash balance increases immediately.

2. Withdrawal:

  • When money is taken from the drawer for an expense:
    1. Press Withdraw money.
    2. Enter the amount and reason for the obligation (e.g. "Urgent purchase of ice at the market — 1,500 ALL").
    3. The amount is deducted from the cash register and reflected in the daily report.

Cash Limit:

  • To prevent large amounts of money from being kept in the drawer overnight, the administrator can set a limit (e.g. 120,000 ALL).
  • 75% Warning: As soon as the amount in the cash register reaches 90,000 ALL (75% of the limit), the system displays a warning bar:

"Warning: The cash register has reached 75% of the cash limit. It is recommended to withdraw cash to the safe."

  • This warning serves only as a reminder and does not block sales in the hall.
