Removing items and authorizing the manager

Void Policy

To prevent abuses by deleting orders after receiving money, BletaGo implements strict security rules:

Two Cases of Removal:

Case 1: Simple Removal (Before the Kitchen Starts Preparation)

  • If the dish was sent in error but the kitchen has not yet pressed "Start":
    1. The waiter taps the plate on the "On the table" list and presses Remove.
    2. Select a reason from the quick list:
      • Client changed his mind
      • Wrong item selected by waiter
      • The item is finished in the kitchen
    3. The plate is removed from the table and a red notice with a line through the plate appears on the kitchen board.

Case 2: Removal with Manager Authorization (After Preparation Has Started)

  • If the kitchen has already pressed "Start" or the dish is marked "Served":
    1. The waiter presses Remove item.
    2. The system opens the security window: Manager authorization required.
    3. The manager must set their account password and write a detailed explanation.
    4. The action is immediately recorded in the Audit Log with the name of the manager who approved it and the reason.
    5. If the dish was cooked and discarded, it should also be recorded in the Losses module in inventory to justify the lost raw material.

Important: Waiters cannot delete cooked dishes without the approval of an administrator or shift manager.
